Wang et al [62] showed that a telerehabilitation program (eg, telephone counseling/coaching, video conferencing) could be effective for pain control but not for functional improvement in patients after knee OA replacement surgery. Another systematic review also showed that the improvements in physical function were not significant for patients with knee OA through telerehabilitation exercise compared with either control or waitlist groups [63].
