The Impact of Parental Support on Adherence to Therapist-Assisted Internet-Delivered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Primary Care for Adolescents With Anxiety: Naturalistic 12-Month Follow-Up Study

In a Swedish study, Nissling et al [17] investigated the effectiveness of internet-delivered ACT (i ACT) on adolescents with anxiety by randomizing 52 participants aged 15-19 years from all over Sweden into either i ACT or waitlist. Both groups improved but the participants in the intervention group exhibited significantly higher improvements regarding anxiety and exhibited moderate effect sizes between groups.
