Methods Used in Co-Creation Within the Health CASCADE Co-Creation Database and Gray Literature: Systematic Methods Overview

Health CASCADE, a European Commission-funded network that aims to develop a coherent methodology for co-creation research in public health, created a peer-reviewed curated database of co-creation literature containing 13,501 papers [29]. Since this study investigated methods used in co-creation, it was logical to source the methods from that database. However, since it contains a vast number of papers with different study types from various disciplines, a 2-step screening process was applied.

A Database of Randomized Trials on the HIV Care Cascade (CASCADE Database): Descriptive Study

A Database of Randomized Trials on the HIV Care Cascade (CASCADE Database): Descriptive Study

To this end, and as part of an overview of systematic reviews to improve treatment initiation, adherence to ART, and retention in care for people living with HIV [5], we built the CASCADE database. The CASCADE database [7] was born from efforts to create evidence maps on the HIV care cascade. This database is a “one-stop shop” for randomized trials of interventions that improve the initiation of treatment, adherence to medication, and retention and engagement in care.

Remote Consulting in Primary Health Care in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: Feasibility Study of an Online Training Program to Support Care Delivery During the COVID-19 Pandemic

We then present a 2-phase approach to evaluation: (1) a pretest phase to establish technical and face validity, and (2) our feasibility study of the delivery of the REa CH training to registered health workers and its cascade to other health workers, and the perceived impact of training on the delivery of health care remotely.

Strengthening Routine Data Systems to Track the HIV Epidemic and Guide the Response in Sub-Saharan Africa

Strengthening Routine Data Systems to Track the HIV Epidemic and Guide the Response in Sub-Saharan Africa

When collated through a comprehensive strategic HIV information system these patient data can provide a count of HIV infected and diagnosed individuals across a specified geographic area, and provide a comprehensive and timely picture of the care cascade. A comprehensive strategic HIV information system is but one component among a suite of components to strengthen the use of patient data in surveillance.
