Emerging Indications for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment: Registry Cohort Study
Initially, this questionnaire was only administered to patients with carbon monoxide poisoning, but in 2022, this questionnaire was expanded to any brain-related condition, including those with post–COVID-19 condition (PCC; also known as postacute sequalae of COVID-19). For frostbite, the users are presented with a diagram of the hands and feet, and they select the affected areas (Figure 1).

Postacute sequelae of SARS-Co V-2, known as post–COVID-19 condition (PCC) or colloquially, long COVID, are broadly defined as delayed recovery from infection with SARS-Co V-2. PCC can occur following severe, mild, or even asymptomatic SARS-Co V-2 infection [1]. Patients with PCC experience lingering or episodic symptoms for greater than 12 weeks or 3 months after acute infection [1,2].

Nonetheless, some of them still suffer from long-term consequences of the infection, referred to as “long COVID,” post–COVID-19 syndrome (PCS) or post–COVID-19 condition (PCC) [10], which not only affect risk groups, but also people with a milder form of COVID-19 or even asymptomatic SARS-Co V-2 infection [11-13]. Those persistent clinical symptoms vary considerably but can be very restricting for the individual [10].
Currently, there is no clear and uniform definition of PCC [14].
