Availability of Alcohol on an Online Third-Party Delivery Platform Across London Boroughs, England: Exploratory Cross-Sectional Study

If the availability of alcohol on platforms increases the total availability and accessibility of alcohol, this might lead to increases in alcohol consumption or harm. Additional concerns arise regarding age verification undertaken by third-party delivery drivers [7]. This study aimed to describe alcohol outlet availability on the platform Deliveroo and explore whether availability was associated with deprivation.

The Association of Broadband Internet Use With Drug Overdose Mortality Rates in the United States: Cross-Sectional Analysis

The Association of Broadband Internet Use With Drug Overdose Mortality Rates in the United States: Cross-Sectional Analysis

This raises the possibility that the marked growth in US drug abuse may have partially stemmed from the wider availability of illicit drugs on the internet [15]. The availability of telehealth through broadband internet is likely to reduce health disparities by connecting providers with individuals living in remote areas [6,7,16]. Telehealth brings specialized health care to communities where it was previously unavailable [17,18].

Changes in the Clinical Practice of Mental Health Service Providers Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic: Longitudinal Questionnaire Study

Changes in the Clinical Practice of Mental Health Service Providers Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic: Longitudinal Questionnaire Study

This finding could be related to increased provider availability due to improved efficiency and comfort with telehealth services as the pandemic progressed [18]. It is also possible that this trend may be due to greater prevalence of mood symptoms resulting in higher demand for mental health services throughout the pandemic [29,30].

Telemedicine Use by Age in Louisiana Medicaid During COVID-19: Claims-Based Longitudinal Analysis

Telemedicine Use by Age in Louisiana Medicaid During COVID-19: Claims-Based Longitudinal Analysis

Limited availability of in-person health care services and concern over contracting COVID-19 during the initial phases of the pandemic prompted a rapid and widespread transition to telemedicine [1-4]. While telemedicine has the potential to reach patients of all ages and income levels, it remains unclear whether the rapid transition to telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic has altered care patterns differentially by age among underserved populations, including those with Medicaid coverage [5-10].
