Parental Patterns of Alcohol Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Scoping Review
Changes in the environments and circumstances in which adults drink can have effects on rates of consumption; lockdown restrictions and sheltering in place led to drinking in the home environment becoming the norm during COVID-19 lockdowns in some places, such as the United Kingdom [5].
In Westernized countries, problematic alcohol use peaks in the third decade of life, a time when many adults are raising young children [6].
