An App for Navigating Patient Transportation and Acute Stroke Care in Northwestern Ontario Using Machine Learning: Retrospective Study

An App for Navigating Patient Transportation and Acute Stroke Care in Northwestern Ontario Using Machine Learning: Retrospective Study

Therefore, due to the region’s geography and the relative health status of its residents, it is important to ensure timely access to acute stroke care for this population. Given that many NWO communities are only accessible by air, Ontario’s air ambulance program (Ornge) previously compared estimated and actual patient transfer times for sending-to-receiving hospital pairs.

Religion, Geography, and Risky Sexual Behaviors Among International Immigrants Living in China: Cross-Sectional Study

We considered age, gender, marital status, education level, employment status, annual disposable income, STI/HIV testing experience, perceived risk of being infected with HIV, and willingness for STI/HIV testing in the future variables as covariates for conducting a multiplicative and additive interaction analysis to further explore the interaction between religion and geography.

Visual “Scrollytelling”: Mapping Aquatic Selfie-Related Incidents in Australia

Visual “Scrollytelling”: Mapping Aquatic Selfie-Related Incidents in Australia

The coordinates provide the best approximation using details provided in media reports and analyzing the geography described in the report. Nevertheless, this map provides a good overview of the geographic nature of selfie-related incidents. Given the ethical limitations regarding the use of coronial data and identification of individual incidents, publicly available information of this nature remains the most appropriate data source.

The Association of a Geographically Wide Social Media Network on Depression: County-Level Ecological Analysis

Specifically, the SCI is a measure of the probability of each Facebook user having a connection to another Facebook user across the geography of their respective residential locations, from county i to county j. We downloaded the August 2020 version of this measure from Facebook’s Data for Good platform [9].

Investigation of the Association Between Alcohol Outlet Density and Alcohol-Related Hospital Admission Rates in England: Study Protocol

Investigation of the Association Between Alcohol Outlet Density and Alcohol-Related Hospital Admission Rates in England: Study Protocol

The geography of urban and rural areas is quite different, with more dispersed populations and alcohol outlets in rural areas. We therefore plan to investigate associations in urban and rural areas. We plan to use cross-sectional (ecological correlation) and longitudinal (cross-sectional time series) study designs. Geographic units of analysis will include all Lower and Middle Super-Output Areas (LSOAs and MSOAs) in England (53 million total population; 32,482 LSOAs; 6781 MSOAs).
