Examining the Relationships Between Indoor Environmental Quality Parameters Pertaining to Light, Noise, Temperature, and Humidity and the Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of People Living With Dementia: Scoping Review

However, these reviews have primarily focused on the parameters of the built environment (eg, size and layout of spaces), interior design, and occupancy and staffing ratios, rather than aspects of the environmental quality that impact comfort, such as temperature and humidity, noise levels, and lighting.

Continuous Critical Respiratory Parameter Measurements Using a Single Low-Cost Relative Humidity Sensor: Evaluation Study

Continuous Critical Respiratory Parameter Measurements Using a Single Low-Cost Relative Humidity Sensor: Evaluation Study

Typically, humidity sensors are included in the tube adaptor entry of respirator face masks (Figure 1) [42]. Continuously measuring the humidity of the exhaled air provides an accurate measurement of the patient's RR. In addition, it was recently shown that TV might potentially be effectively estimated from surface measurement during the normal breathing cycle [43]. Exhaled air has a relative humidity (RH) of 100% and is saturated with water [44].

The Impact of Temperature, Humidity, and Sunshine on Internet Search Volumes Related to Psoriasis

The Impact of Temperature, Humidity, and Sunshine on Internet Search Volumes Related to Psoriasis

Few studies have assessed specific weather features like temperature, humidity, and sunshine levels. In this study, we examined internet searches related to psoriasis in Germany, looking at whether patterns in searching were weather related. The internet search volume for the search term “psoriasis” (disease) for Germany was obtained from Google Trends [5].

The Influence of Average Temperature and Relative Humidity on New Cases of COVID-19: Time-Series Analysis

The Influence of Average Temperature and Relative Humidity on New Cases of COVID-19: Time-Series Analysis

Under GAM, high temperature tended to increase the number of daily new cases of COVID-19 whereas high relative humidity decreased the count (Table 5). Relative humidity does not influence the daily new cases significantly, but higher temperatures can exert an increase as high as 7% on daily new cases in lag 3d (beta=0.073, SE 0.006, P Generalized linear modeling of the effects of temperature and relative humidity on daily new cases of COVID-19.
