A Social Media Study of Portrayals of Bipolar Disorders on YouTube: Content and Thematic Analyses
The examination of longer-form testimonies on You Tube allows for a more rich and detailed understanding of the portrayal of mental disorders on the internet. Unlike other social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram [18-21], the scientific interest in the depiction of well-being and mental health on You Tube has only recently increased.
Past studies have investigated the portrayal of mental disorders on You Tube.

Social media platforms, particularly You Tube, have become powerful tools for disseminating health-related information to audiences that are not easily accessible [10]. With 73% of middle-aged adults and 45% of older adults in the United States using social media such as Facebook (Meta) and You Tube, these platforms are vital tools for raising awareness, educating communities, and deepening public understanding of ADRD [11].

In particular, many people have watched You Tube videos on weight loss. It was found that the 98 most viewed weight loss videos on You Tube were viewed more than 365 million times in total [9]. In recent years, the injectable antidiabetic drug with weight loss property, branded Ozempic, has gained significant attention on platforms such as Tik Tok (Byte Dance) and You Tube. Between 2018 and 2023, online searches for Ozempic surged in the United States [10].

Breast Cancer Vlogs on YouTube: Descriptive and Content Analyses
Vlogs, or “video blogs,” are personally and individually created experiential videos based on wide-ranging topics, usually posted to You Tube. A popular subset of vlogs are created by women with breast cancer, in which they document their breast cancer experiences in a publicly accessible digital format.

Moreover, the amount of medical content on this platform has increased significantly in recent years [17]. Identifying Strategies for Home Management of Ostomy Care: Content Analysis of YouTube
Search terms related to ostomy self-care were defined by the research team (Table 1) for identifying videos using the search tools within You Tube. During December 2023, You Tube was searched for relevant videos using search terms and Boolean operators under the search category “videos only” tab or “video” filter.

Assessment of Reliability and Validity of Celiac Disease–Related YouTube Videos: Content Analysis
There are studies in the literature evaluating the reliability and quality of You Tube videos for many diseases [5,6]. There are few studies evaluating CD-related You Tube videos [7,8]. However, one of these studies evaluated non-English language videos [8]. The other study did not measure CD-related You Tube videos with the tests developed for these studies and did not include videometric parameters (such as the number of likes and dislikes) in the evaluation [7].

We distributed the video of the dance we created to participants using You Tube. MET: metabolic equivalent of task.
During the dance activity, METs were measured using a respiratory gas analyzer (pulmonary exercise load monitoring system: AE-310 S, Minato Medical Science Co, Ltd, Osaka city, Osaka, Japan). The average METs for each dance video were as follows: (1) 4.57, (2) 4.86, (3) 4.84, (4) 6.95, and (5) 7.11 METs.

Public Health Discussions on Social Media: Evaluating Automated Sentiment Analysis Methods
This study examines the use of You Tube, a unique social media platform. It is a diverse medium because its primary purpose is content sharing and educating its users about relevant topics [3]. Users seek out content of interest and, comment and react. When examining health care crises and the relay of medical information, sentiment analysis may be used to gauge the response to the stimulus.
