We conducted an initial literature search to assess what negative attitudes emerge toward medical AI. As there are psychological factors that underlie attitudes toward AI tools [8], we attempted to find studies focusing on precisely defined types of attitudes on an attitude scale.

Planned Behavior in the United Kingdom and Ireland Online Medicine Purchasing Context: Mixed Methods Survey Study

Participants selected from a predetermined list of reasons for positive or negative attitudes that motivated consumers to buy medicine online, or they could free-type their response. The 2 reasons that contributed to positive attitudes toward online medicine purchasing behavior were convenience (18/46, 39%) and cost (22/46, 48%). A free-text space in this question resulted in 17 other responses.
